I think if timings were introduced for Salik it would a lot of traffic congession.

As per my knowlege, toll gate should be place only at the exit point…not within the city..what is the used of putting at Maktoum bridge, Safa park and Barsha, hey all this places are within dubai.. exit point means they can put in boundaries which is connecting to one emirates to another emirates..god bless you guys for making lots of money

Realy we can’t able accept this open robbery system to forcing on expotriate and
peoples. i would like to asking questin where is traffic problem has solved by salik system? people don’t have way and everybody crying to pay this. now they forcing
us to live like as a ’shaick – with having lots of money’ in dubai without any basic resonable incomes, even induivi’dual innocents-poor peopls and sruggling companys put in more hell.by this money they spend for city devolopes and again the forcing us to high lifestyle living cost wich is the people realy can’t face. they say they creating as no-1 haven in dubai.
but realy we dont have as much cappacity to face have that kind of lifes; so actually the middle class,poor peoples are going to facing life style as hell.’god’ leaving any countrys have their peopls only as richest? no… ;the countrys they have all kind and all class of peopls are living.al ready dubai company are forcing to run with varios high payments they are paying for government sectors; and killing by rents, they are loosing them investments and struggling to run companys with high ompetitions,
and less profit then before exspecialy small and middle range of companys; also facing every time lots of paper work and spending ….paying money…money…money also a new… new… new…. rools every day by day. realy our golden life was gone in dubai after the great man our baba late his highness-’shaick rashid bin al macktoum’ iam sorry to tell this pls bring back that days..u can. people want to be stayble life, resonable income,resonable expendatures, atleast 5% saving money, little happy, little relax, no stress, no tention, no pp,and easy- simpli’city(islam said’ this is ‘Barakath’). pls… concider ‘all your shaick as well as roolers to bring peacefull- happy life in dubai, because we are love this country,we love this nations, we are serviewing n this country,we are looking and finding ours and our families feeds in this country,thatswhy most of us leaving our conutrys and our parents, whife, childrens , relatives,friends, and basic thinks, we not only spending our work also we are spending every day our lossing of lifes from being with our families and other thinks which one we can’t get back, we have year and year separated from our whife to have fasting with have even normal human lifes. the expariates realy we have un happy life espe’cially muslims; because other where ever in our countrys already
we dont have our life security and peacefull life. also other living cost day by day hike.
we are feeling in dark what we can do…?

Now the RTA are going to start Salik on Makthoum Bridge and I also spotted another one near the Burj Dubai. Looking at the traffic situations and ever rising economy, this is total daylight robbery – HARAM!

Why haven’t the RTA put up Salik at the borders of Dubai. It’s unfair that people living in Dubai have to pay SALIK and people coming from Sharjah, Ajmam, UAQ and some other place don’t get SALIK. They are the main cause of traffic, they pay lower rents, and enjoy better savings. It seems pretty clear that Dubai is ridding itself of the middle class expat in order to make way for the UBER class as per it’s given ‘Image’.
It’s not acceptable that SALIK is being used to fund major projects whistle the common man is being forced to pay.
Honestly, if taxis are also a form of public transport – why do they have to force passenges to pay SALIK and not the bus commuters? The bus services are pathetic and the frequency timings that are given on the notice boards are useless.
And the RTA has the audacity of promoting inadequate and infrequent services?! “Use public transport” they say!

Even Asian countries have better transportation systems that the UAE!

I would suggest that the RTA research the market on whta are the commuters woes and suggestions. For example , why are there less buses during peak hours in the mornings and evenings? I personally have waited for more that 3 hours waiting for a taxi and there isn’t even a queue facility in Dubai except for the airport, lamcy plaza and a few malls. All in all – RTA better get their act together and work for improving their services instead of fleecing innocent people!
